NEW YORK, NY – April 5, 2006 – Ghostface Killah’s highly-anticipated new release, Fishscale, arrived in stores last Tuesday amid a torrent of critical acclaim and a massive street buzz among fans. Now, with sales topping 110,000 units, almost double the first-week numbers posted by 2004’s The Pretty Tony Album, Fishscale debuted on the Billboard 200 album chart at #4 this week, and #2 on the R&B album chart.

Word on Ghost’s return to form has been spreading like wildfire: his incredible South By Southwest show at the Fader/Levis house has quickly become the stuff of legend; glowing reviews from critics in top publications like The New Yorker, the New York Times, Rolling Stone, USA Today and Pitchfork are calling the album an instant classic, his best since Supreme Clientele, and an early vote for Album of the Year; message-boards and chat-rooms on hip-hop fan sites have been debating Fishscale’s merits and clamoring for it’s release. On top of all this, Ghost remains on an extensive national tour, and his hit single “Back Like That” featuring Ne-Yo continues to grow.

Ghost will make his triumphant return to his native New York City with a sold-out performance at Nokia Theater on April 22nd. Stay tuned…
