Ice Cube Kicks Off 21 City Club Tour

April 20, 2006 – New York, NY) Legendary rapper Ice Cube will kick off his first tour in six years tonight, in Anaheim, California. The cross country tour is in support of his forthcoming, seventh solo LP, “Laugh Now, Cry Later,” scheduled to be released June 6, 2006 independently through his own label, Lench Mob Records.

The tour will hit 21 cities through May 28th where it concludes in Phoenix. Fellow West Coast rappers Tha Dogg Pound as well as The Clipse have been tapped to support Ice Cube on this rare club run. Ice Cube will debut material from his upcoming album and dig deep into his 20-year recording career.

Boasting production from top-level producers like Scott Storch, Swizz Beatz and Lil’ Jon, and featuring guests Snoop Dogg and Dub C, Ice Cube is set to reclaim his title as Rap’s Heavyweight Champion. >From the buzz single and video, “Chrome and Paint” to the first official single, the Scott Storch-produced “Why We Thugs”, Ice Cube’s “Laugh Now, Cry Later” features 18 solid tracks, many of which he will be performing during this intimate trek.
